While we await the Quality Control results from Panini America’s packout for 2013 Crown Royale Football Hobby, we’re going to finish the preview we started late last week of 2013 Crown Royale Football Retail. On the heels of Thursday’s Quality Control Gallery, we bring you today’s Teaser Gallery that takes you pack-by-pack through three boxes of a quite engaging retail version of the product.

Although each four-pack retail box of 2013 Crown Royale Football promises two autograph or memorabilia cards, two of the three boxes we opened yielded three autograph or memorabilia cards and a host of retail-exclusive parallels, inserts and low-numbered chases. Over the course of the last several days, the Panini America NBA Product Development Team has transformed the company’s printing facility across town into a bona fide hoops heaven. Between the pre-packout process for 2012-13 National Treasures Basketball and actually packing out 2012-13 Signatures Basketball, the team has no doubt handled — with gloves on, I might add — some of the most influential cards of the entire 2012-13 collecting season.

We’ll have much more on National Treasures, which begins packing out later this week, in the coming days. Today, however, is dedicated to the debut edition of Signatures, a product that lives up to its name by delivering three autograph cards and one Chase card numbered to 25 or less in every four-card box.
